No Influence only guide

With the next Indian general elections round the corner, as a part of the society and responsible citizens I feel there is need to contribute to the event. The fact that IT & ITES market have crossed the $20 billion mark, which is mainly contributed by software exports and BPOs, there is definitely a need to understand the scenario that more and more people are getting tied up to workstations/cubicles. The task force behind this is all dynamic and young college graduates who are just beginning their journey professionally. Socially all of them will be now playing in a bigger league. The fact that these kinds of jobs are very time demanding, and play devil’s role on the daily schedule, many of them hardly find time to keep up with news and events on any other media other than the internet. With whatever time they spend on the internet they can be mainly found on the mail servers or scrapping in their networks or socializing in their own way, but in the cyber world.

The audience I am refering to is also very enthusiastic and does an extensive research about everything they want to purchase. Now that there are so many online services which will provide those reviews and tools to find the right information, there is a lot of hollowness in the civics space. Majority of these people are yet to exercise their right of balloting. With so less time at hand, having their own priorities to spend of what time they have, to expect them to have gain knowledge about the Indian political scenario from the conventional media are unrealistic. Many of them would hardly know 5 or more names of any ministers other than the Prime minister. But yes they have their own opinion about anything you ask them. There is necessity to help them align their views to the closest degree possible to the contending candidate or party who also has same views. This is to make them aware of political party’s ideology or agenda. This information I think hardly reaches them before the event, and many of them regret just because of not being aware about the same.

I wish we all should think and contribute in all ways possible to fill in this gap through the powerful internet media. Last but not the least we should not, by any means try to influence the opinions of any person.
